Something was off, and we’re fixing it.
Lanturn Weekly started with a simple idea: take the week’s news, strip out the noise, and give you something real to do about it. Not rage-clicks. Not doom. Just honest stories and practical steps that connect us instead of dividing us.
But we discovered that some of our earlier content wasn’t grounded in verified events. That’s unacceptable for a project built on trust, so we pulled everything down and started over.
What’s Different Now
Every story in Lanturn Weekly now comes with source links you can check yourself. If we can’t verify it, we don’t publish it. The news research, the writing, the fact-checking — every step has a human reviewing it before it goes live.
The format stays the same: a Monday digest covering three real stories from the past week, each paired with a concrete action you can take. Midweek, we go deeper on the strongest call to action.
Why This Matters
There’s no shortage of news. There’s a shortage of news that helps you do something. That’s what we’re here for — a lantern through the fog, lighting one step at a time.
Welcome back. Let’s get glowing.
